So, last month I posted a Shadowpact Insanity, and last nigt was the first time I got to play it in a real life situation.
It was, shaky. At some points it was really strong, yet in all the games played I failed to find a Beside Myself. But I can say this for the deck, it may not be amazing but it is SO much fun to play with. Dark Beast with a Mr. Mxy? Hilarious. Zatanna wasn’t played ever, but Mikhail Rasputin came down twice for the wins. Have a Blasting a team-up is also pretty darn useful though as well.
I also got chance to play my Bring Your Own Set deck, and replaced Clobbering Times with Beatdowns, and in one game I had drawn the full playset by turn 2, and deadgirl swang for the win on turn 5. Which was the only game I hadn’t managed to get punisher suited up in. Though I wasn’t going to complain.
In the end I decided to take the Unstable Molecular Suits out for m60’s, because a 15/7 is a little too good to miss out on.
My Manhunter Legend deck also got a reasonable run last night. Though I had a little mishap in one of the games, as I should have mulliganed, in the other I managed to bring 3 additional Giants in on turn 5. I am definately going to take out Rebellion of Oa out for Beatdowns, for the early attacks, while I stil have the resources to do so.
